I recently visited the Berystede Spa for a combination treatment—a back massage, Indian head massage, and a facial—and it was hands-down one of the best spa experiences I’ve had… it was amazing! My therapist, Laura Buckland, was absolutely incredible. From the moment we met, she was so lovely and friendly, which immediately put me at ease. The treatments themselves were amazing; the massage was exactly what I needed to de-stress, and the facial left my skin feeling rejuvenated. Laura is clearly a top class masseuse and has a wonderful, friendly and calming presence. She invited me back to have a treatment prior to my wedding in September . If you’re visiting the Berystede, I highly recommend booking in with her!

Me and a friend stayed at the berrystead over the weekend. Staff were very helpful. They last store her belongings in the office. So that we could spend more time in the spa, having treatments, After checking out. Spar. We had a fantastic time we had 3 different treatments and the ladies doing them were all really lovely and did a great job, especially the salt scrub. We both felt so relaxed and pampered Room. Our room, was a nice twin. Was clean and tidy and had a selection of teas and coffees. Plenty of room for the two of us. Restaurant. The only downside was the main courses in the restaurant. My friend ordered sausage a mash, which she said was not great and I ordered the rigatoni atta bolognese. It add to have been the worst meal I've ever had. It looked like a kid's penne microwave meal. It has no flavour whatsoever and the pasta was still hard. With a price tag of £19 pound, it was shocking. We plan to stay again, but definitely wouldn't eat there.

I was treated, by my daughter for my 80th birthday, for a one night stay at this lovely hotel and spa. The hotel upgraded our room as it was my special birthday which was so kind and really made our stay very special. We dined in the restaurant in the evening and the staff presented me with a pudding with a candle singing me a happy birthday! Breakfast was also included which was very tasty. Swam in the pool and it was great being in the hydro pool in the dark. Certainly a lovely surprise treat which I thoroughly enjoyed.

This hotel is beautiful. The spa is superb, clean and has lots to offer. Thermal suite is my favourite. Great pool, Hydro outside pool and also tea, coffee and soft drinks station included in price. The outside Hydro pool is surrounded by trees where you can see a range of wildlife. It was a magical Sunday afternoon with my husband. Plenty of parking outside and Very reasonably priced, considering you can stay all day if you liek. Highly recommend

The old section of the hotel is full of charm, but it seems most of the standard rooms are in the modern conference centre annex. This section of the hotel has a far more low budget look and feel. The room decor was tired with sections of paint missing from the bathroom door and an ill fitting sink. The beds were comfy and the blackout curtains were welcome. The food at dinner and breakfast was good, with a decent selection for OK prices. The complimentary Prosecco that came with our booking was served with dinner, which I was sad about as I wanted red wine and would have preferred the Prosecco in the room as advertised. The reception staff seemed stressed and although they were very helpful I felt rushed. Dinner was also rushed, with staff setting up the breakfast tables around us, despite only having two courses and our booking being half an hour before the cut off time. I hate to think of how it would have been if we were half an hour later. The grounds and Spa are nice, but a little tired around the edges. The whole place could do with a bit of a facelift and it would be amazing. As it stands if we hadn’t got a special deal I would have been disappointed.

The room was a really good size. However there was a noisy generator that really affected my sleep once I woke in the night. I mentioned this to reception in the morning and they said "If you had come and told us we would have moved you." But you are hardly likely to get up in the night and move rooms. They were not full, so surely it would be better to fill the noisy rooms last! The room had most of what I needed: safe, iron, toiletries. There was a good tea tray, but no water provided. There are no sockets near the beds, so be aware if of you have medical needs, to take an extension lead. They only had one at reception. The food in the restaurant was simple, but nicely cooked. I just went for fish and chips a seen in the photos. The pool was lovely, with a jacuzzi pool outside. Really enjoyed this. It stayed open late too, so that was time to enjoy this on the evening after work.

A brilliant package deal for a night's spa break to celebrate a loved one's 70th birthday with family. The children were allowed in the pool from 4pm-6pm and then again the next morning from 9-11am (after a buffet breakfast) so we had got to maximise their enjoyment. We had a lovely massage/facial treatment each for the adults as well as money towards our evening meal at the restaurant. The food at the main restaurant was generally good and tasty, after a few small requests. They provided brilliant service though and an evening to remember! Great cocktails, highly recommend the Gin French Martini!
